KKR vs GT – IPL – Team Previews

Kolkata Knight Riders

In their recent games, KKR lost to Punjab Kings by 7 runs through the DLS method but managed to bounce back with a convincing win over Royal Challengers Bangalore. They also clinched a thrilling victory over the defending champions by 3 wickets but then suffered losses against MI and Delhi. They also lost to defending champions Chennai Super Kings but returned to winning ways against RCB with a 21-run victory.

So far, KKR has won only one of their three home matches this season and has struggled to find their footing at Eden Gardens. Among their bowlers, Narine and Sharma have been the most promising performers, while the pacers have not been at their best. However, Russell’s recent performances offer a ray of hope for Nitish Rana’s men.

Jason Roy has been effective as an opener and at number 5, scoring two consecutive fifties. On the other hand, KKR’s Litton Das left the IPL on Friday due to a family emergency in Bangladesh. Despite this, KKR has plenty of options with Venky Iyer and rookie Suyash Sharma settling into their roles as Impact players.

Gujarat Titans

The Titans are coming off a dominant win against Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, where they defended a massive 207-run total against a strong batting lineup. They will look to carry forward the confidence gained from that victory into this game and maintain a balance between adapting to the conditions and being flexible with their approach.

While Wriddhiman Saha has been effective at the top of the order despite not being a typical T20 hitter, young left-arm Chinaman bowler Noor Ahmed has also shown great potential and is expected to make an impact.

The Hardik Pandya-led team is likely to stick to the same winning combination that has brought them success in their last two matches. The only expected change could be replacing Shubman Gill with Josh Little or Alzarri Joseph as their Impact Player.

KKR vs GT – IPL – Pitch Report and Toss Prediction

The Eden Gardens has been a batting paradise this season with a flat surface and short boundaries. The average 1st innings score on this ground this year is a massive 220 runs but a winning total would be something over 200.

KKR vs GT – IPL – Win Prediction

Kolkata Knight Riders have been very inconsistent this season and don’t seem to be having the bowling to curtail batsmen at the Eden Gardens. We predict a comfortable victory for the defending champions
