LAH vs PES – PSL – Team Previews
After winning five consecutive matches at home, Lahore Qalandars will play their first match away from home, but they remain confident as they currently sit atop the table with 12 points from seven matches.
However, their openers Fakhar Zaman and Mirza Tahir Baig have struggled in the last two games and will look to regain their form. Meanwhile, Abdullah Shafique has been in excellent form, scoring 183 runs in the last four games with scores of 48, 15, 45, and 75. Sam Billings has also been a valuable addition to the team at the No. 4 position, scoring a half-century in the last match.
The team’s all-rounders Sikandar Raza, David Wiese, and Hussain Talat provide further depth to the batting lineup, with Raza being the go-to man if the top-order fails. Captain Shaheen Afridi has done a good job leading the team but will be disappointed with his bowling form, as he has failed to take any wickets in the last three matches.
Peshawar Zalmi are currently in fourth position and have won three and lost three matches so far. They are only two points ahead of fifth-placed Karachi Kings but are also only four points behind second-placed Islamabad United. With four matches left to play, this match could be a turning point in their season.
There are concerns about Saim Ayub’s form as he has only managed to score four runs in his remaining three innings after scoring two half-centuries in his first five innings. Haseebullah Khan has strengthened the middle order with his 50 off 29 balls in his first appearance for Zalmi. Rovman Powell has been in fine form and has contributed 143 runs in five outings with the bat at No. 6.
To win the match, Peshawar Zalmi need to take a couple of early wickets, but they also need to be wary of Sikandar Raza’s form in the middle order. Peshawar Zalmi may want to consider changing their top order, possibly by swapping Mohammad Haris with Tom Kohler-Cadmore.

LAH vs PES – PSL – Pitch Report and Toss Prediction
Based on the recent history of the Pindi Club Ground, it has been a favorable pitch for batters. Scoring runs has been relatively easy, and bowlers have struggled to contain them. In the last three matches played at the venue, the team chasing has won twice. Given this trend, the team that wins the toss in the upcoming game may consider bowling first.
LAH vs PES – Match Prediction
Lahore Qalandars are the favourites going into this game and should be able to dispatch a hot-and-cold Peshawar Zalmi.
