The batters gave the momentum and the bowlers continued to pick wickets and didn’t allow the UAE squad to have a strong partnership on the ground.

Pathun Nissanka turned out to be the highest scorer. He scored 74 runs in 60 balls at a strike rate of 123.33. In partnership with Kusal Mendis and Dhananjay de Silva, the batters were able to reach a score of 152 at a loss of 8 wickets. The Sri Lankan middle order will have to revisit their mistakes before they come to play against the Netherlands.

Sri Lankan bowlers were a pack of wolves who turned out to be ferocious against the opposition. They didn’t allow the UAE batters to make a strong base on the pitch and broke every partnership at the right time.
