Bangladesh Cricket Board will be happy to see the performance of the current squad. They have dominated the ODI series by 2-1. Before the beginning of the ODI series, the board was worried about the absence of some crucial players in the team. However, now the team looks calm and composed and ready for the real test of cricket in a 5-day format.

Litton Das will lead the batting unit of Bangladesh. He has been part of 8 fixtures in 2022 and has scored 659 runs at an average of 47.07 with two centuries and four half-centuries. He will get good support from Mustafizur Rehman who is also in a good shape. The batters are well aware of India’s strength and at the same time are well aware of the home conditions.

With 20 wickets each, Ebadot Hossain and Mehidy Hasan Miraz have taken the most for Bangladesh in tests this year. The team faced a tough situation as they started their tour against the hosts. They lost the ODI series but in the last game of the series, the Indian batters and bowlers displayed a ferocious style of play and completely outnumbered the hosts.

Virat Kohli’s century would have given him more confidence to continue the momentum in the test series as well. Indian camp is witnessing multiple injuries currently as their skipper Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Mohammad Shami are out of the playing XI because of the same reason.
