Meanwhile, Fortune Barishal can have a psychological edge over Rangpur Riders in the knockout match. The two teams faced each other twice in the competition and both times, Barishal established themselves as a better team. In the first game, Rangpur Riders scored only 158 runs and it took 19.2 overs for Barishal to chase the total and record a win by six wickets.

In the second match, the Fortune side batted side and posted a mammoth score of 238 runs on the scoreboard. Following the massive total, Rangpur were restricted to 171 runs and they lost the game by 67 runs.
