Rilee Rossouw made splendid efforts with a knock of 35 runs, but he did not receive support from the other two players.

MS Dhoni & Men will be eager to score a win in both their remaining league matches to confirm a place in the top two of the IPL 2023 points table. While Chennai is at a good place in the tournament, the Kolkata Knight Riders are struggling for survival. Despite losing seven matches, the team has an outside chance of reaching the playoffs.

Nitish Rana-led side will be low on momentum as they succumbed to a nine-wicket defeat against Rajasthan Royals in their last game. They ended up scoring only 149 runs in the allotted 20 overs and it was an easy target to chase for the Royals as they reached a win in just 13.1 overs.
