After the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur and Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the Australia Test tour of India is now moving to Holkar Cricket Stadium in the Indore. India will be facing the Australian cricket team for the third time in the four-match Test series from March 01 to March 05. It will be a must-win game for Australia to avoid a series loss. They have a chance to end the four-match series in a draw by winning the remaining two games.

Notably, the Indian spinners spilled their charm in the first Test as they took the team home by an innings and 132 runs. Ravindra Jadeja was the top player for the side and he also took home the man of the match award. Jadeja contributed with the bat as well. Apart from the spin all-rounder, Rohit Sharma, and Axar Patel were the two players who scored big.

Delhi saw the same fate as again Indian spinners ruled the 22-yard pitch and India recorded a win by six wickets. Ravindra Jadeja was again adjudged the player of the match. While Jadeja was the pick of the bowler, Axar Patel made headlines owing to his batting exploits. He ended up as the top run-scorer for India. 

India will be aiming to continue the spectacular run and seal the series. The team will have all the players available for selection for the match that will kick-start on Wednesday. One noteworthy point here is that even if India loses the remaining two games and the four-match series ends in a draw, they will be retaining the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

As far as Australia are concerned, they will be expecting to dish out their best performance to score their first win on their tour to India in 2023. The Kangaroos are expected to big changes in their line-up. The skipper Pat Cummins will be missing the game as he has gone back to Australia because of personal reasons. 

With Cummins absent, Steve Smith will be filling his shoes. Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc can find a place for himself in the final team. Apart from Starc, Cameron Green can be another addition to the side. The opening batter, David Warner, has been ruled out of the Indore game following a serious injury.
