The finalist of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup are all set to again lock horns with each other but this time in the longest format of the game. The first Test of the three-match series between Pakistan and England will be conducted from December 01 to December 05 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. Before the World Cup, the two teams had played against each other in the seven-match T20I series.

The series saw England defeating the Men in Green by 4-3. England dominated Pakistan in the T20 World Cup final as well. They scored a victory by five wickets owing to a stunning performance by the ball to lift the illustrious trophy. England will be buzzing with confidence during the Test series.

They are enjoying a brilliant ride under the leadership of Ben Stokes and coach Brendon McCullum. In the summer this year, the Englishmen won seven out of eight Test matches. Pakistan, on the other hand, will have a massive advantage due to home conditions. It will not be easy for the visitors to play on the spin-friendly surfaces. 

Pakistan failed to make a mark in their last Test match. In their game against Sri Lanka in July, they suffered a massive loss by 246 runs.
