They have a total of six points to their name. The Dragons kick-started the tournament with a win over Ba11sy Trichy by six wickets. Varun Chakravarthy was the top player for the team with three wickets under his belt. 

The Dragons continued their fine performance in the second match against Siechem Madurai Panthers as they recorded a win by seven wickets. Again, the bowlers were the front runners for the team as they restricted the Panthers to a score of 123 runs in the 20 overs in the first innings. Saravana Kumar and Suboth Bhati picked three wickets each for the Dindigul Dragons, while Varun Chakravarthy had two to his name.

In their most recent match against Chepauk Super Gillies, the Dindigul Dragons made it three in a row by winning the nail-biting affair by one run. Battin first, the team scored 170 runs in 20 overs courtesy of Adithya Ganesh, who smacked 44 runs off 30 balls. Meanwhile, the bowlers continued the momentum in the second innings as they stopped the Super Gillies at a score of 169 runs.

Playing on Sunday, the team will be now pumped up to take the winning streak to four and dethrone the Nellai Royal Kings to occupy the top position. Just like Dindigul Dragons, Lyca Kovai Kings are also enjoying a good ride in the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2023. With three wins and one loss to their name from four league matches, the team has collected six points to sit in third place in the points tally.

Lyca Kovai Kings looked good in their first TNPL game as they defeated IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans by 70 runs. Put to bat first, the Kings scored 179 runs in the 20 overs with Sai Sudarshan playing a knock of 86 runs off 45 balls. In the second innings, the Tamizhans were restricted to only 109 runs as Shahrukh Khan scalped three wickets in his four overs.

The team could not continue the momentum and ended up losing its second match to Nellai Royal Kings by four wickets. This time, the bowlers failed to put up an excellent performance as they could not defend 181 runs in 20 overs. However, Lyca Kovai Kings did not take much time in bouncing back. They defeated Chepauk Super Gillies and Ba11sy Trichy in their next two matches by eight and six wickets, respectively.

In the game against Gillies, Lyca chased 127 runs with ease in 16.3 overs while the game against Trichy saw them chasing 118 runs in 18.2 overs. They will now be hoping for an opportunity to record their third consecutive victory.
