As far as Delhi Capitals Women are concerned, they have won four of six league games. With eight points, the franchise is second in the standings. The Capitals ended their winning streak of two games in their most recent match against Gujarat Giants. The bowlers did their job well as the Giants were restricted to 147 runs in the first innings. However, the Delhi batters failed to continue the momentum as they collapsed at 136 runs in 18.4 overs to lose the match by 11 runs. 

Meanwhile, this will be the second time that Mumbai and Delhi will be locking horns with each other in the Women’s Premier League. The first encounter between the two teams resulted in the Indians outshining the Capitals by eight wickets. The MI bowlers ruled the 22-yard pitch as Delhi collapsed at 105 runs in 20 overs. The skipper Meg Lanning looked good with the bat as she added 43 runs to the scoreboard in 41 balls. 

However, there was a lack of support from other players. Saika Ishaque and Issy Wrong caused the most destruction for Mumbai with the ball as they picked three wickets each. Following the score in the second innings, the table-toppers won the game within 15 overs. Yastika Bhatia ended up as the top run-scorer for the team with 41 runs.

It will be exciting to see which team emerges as a winner on Monday in the battle between the bests.
